The Pastoral responsibility of the Church in Nigeria is a
call and an invitation to practice justice and an attempt to
demonstrate that there is a basic theological link between
the church’s mission and the clarion call to human
development; an attempt to show how the church in Nigeria
identifies herself with the socio-political realities of the
society, that is to say, an attempt to focus attention on
man’s hopes, aspirations, justice and peace.
Leonard Lemchukwu obtained his Doctorate in
Theology from the University of Tübingen Germany.
