This volume marks the tenth anniversary of the Protestant
Church in the Netherlands on May 1st 2014. It outlines the
long history that preceded the unification and the
developments that occurred during the first decade of its
existence. Further authors from other countries – Belgium,
the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Australia – share the
stories of their united churches. Their contributions enrich
the picture of what church unification may entail. Thus the
volume contributes to the field of ecumenical theology.
Finally theologians from different backgrounds share some
reflections on issues that these articles raise.
