This book compares different `frozen conflicts’ in Eastern
Europe: former Yugoslavia, Transnistria, South Ossetia,
Abkhazia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Crimea and Donbas. Most
contributions are written from the perspectives of
political, sociological, historical and diplomatic sciences.
The main goal is to formulate security measures through
analytical comparison, which would offer peaceful solutions
to current conflicts in the region of Eastern Europe.
Nazarii Gutsul is research assistant at the

Kristina Khrul works as research assistant in the
