This monograph asks how Art becomes a medium of
understanding within Interdisciplinary and Intercultural
Dialogue.
Models of Intercultural Philosophy and Aesthetics are
discussed. With the help of Linguistic Models and Philosophy
of Language Fritsch-Oppermann tries to construct bridges
between Buddhist Lyrics and Modern Lyrics influenced by
Buddhism as well as Lyrics rooted in Christian Mysticism.
She finally asks what are possible terminological and
methodological widenings in the concepts of time and space
when taking as an example forms of Modern Dance Theatre as
well as Minimal Music and Art influenced by Zen Buddhism and
Japanese Culture.
