The world at the beginning of the 21st century is fundamentally different
from what it was only 50 years ago – or so it seems. In the political
realm, scholars identify deep changes in organization. What are the new
institutions and qualities of political order? Debates on this question
have focused on two concepts in particular: globalization and global
governance. Using these concepts as entrance points, therefore, the
contributors to this volume explore theory and practice of political
organization in a transformed/ing world with the aim of shaping the
post-globalization discussion.
