Beschreibung
The volume innovatively depicts the ecological,
legal, and political dimensions of infrastructure in the
light of its transformations after the demise of state
socialism(s) in various Eastern European regions and
explores other areas worldwide. Drawing on issues in
anthropology, environmental studies, and infrastructure
studies/STS the book examines the politics and impacts of
infrastructures, especially related to social difference and
resource access. It covers the relationships between
environments and infrastructures and asks how we can manage
these systems in the Anthropocene.
