Beschreibung

This volume is the result of a collaboration among three European universities committed to a more sustainable and ethically sound future. From an interdisciplinary perspective that combines history, theology, and law, the book explores how ecological crises are intertwined with cultural practices, beliefs, and legal systems. It offers a critical examination of topics ranging from spiritual worldviews and environmental justice to cultural heritage and activism. The texts draw not only on academic research but also on the authors’ personal experiences. Instead of prescribing solutions to the reader, the aim is to encourage readers to engage in reflection and dialogue themselves. In addition, the position of the university as a transformative space for ecological and ethical learning in the Anthropocene is highlighted
