Herbert Igboanusi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of
Linguistics and African Languages, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he
teaches courses on sociolinguistics and stylistics. He has numerous
publications on the varieties of West African English, language policy and
language conflict, and stylistics.
