During times of transformative change, politics take place
on the level where we imagine the world. Unearthing
the Politics of Globalization offers a framework,
vocabulary, and procedure to describe and access these
politics. The metaphorological approach offered in
the book allows us to demarcate the politics of
globalization. Together with philosophical therapy,
a technique that allows us to therapeutically engage policy
makers, these politics can actually be accessed. The policy
field of communicating foreign policy is used as a miner’s
canary in order to assess the fruitfulness of such an
approach.
