theme of empowerment from a cross-cultural perspective. She traces this
notion in the text (the Bible and Christian traditions) and explores
concepts and applications of empowerment in global and local (West Timor,
Indonesia) contexts. By using both written and oral sources this book
offers a new way of “doing theology from below”.
