In a world fraught with crises and transformations, the question arises as to what resources are available for the common good. In this volume edited by the European Society for Catholic Theology, young Catholics are exploring, through specific examples, how the Christian faith can contribute to this discussion. In doing so, they are building on the legacy of the founding fathers of a united Europe and exploring theological prospects for a shared future in a secular and multi-religious Europe.
Michael Quisinsky is Professor for Systematic Theology at the University of Education (Pädagogische Hochschule) Karlsruhe (Germany) and editor-in-chief of the ET-Studies.
Fáinche Ryan is Director of the Loyola Institute, Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and President of the European Society for Catholic Theology (2025-2027).
