Die Reihe "Medical Ethics in Health Care Chaplaincy.
Medizinethik in der Klinikseelsorge" umfasst Publikationen
zu einem neuen Ansatz einer theologisch und philosophisch
orientierten Medizinethik in der Klinikseelsorge. Aufgrund
der Neuausrichtung der Medizin im Hinblick auf
medizinethische, multireligiöse und strukturelle Fragen
bedarf die religionsplurale Seelsorge einer besonderen
(medizin-)ethischen Kompetenz, deren praktische und
theoretische Entwicklung über die berufspraktische Reflexion
und Bildung hinausgeht. Theoretische Grundlagenreflexion,
Fallerzählungen und Praxisreflexionen stehen im Fokus dieser
Reihe.

The series "Medical Ethics in Health Care Chaplaincy"
covers publications that engage with a new approach to
medical ethics, focusing on health care chaplaincy, both
from a philosophical and theological perspective. Due to
several new directions within medical practices, especially
regarding questions of medical ethics, religious pluralism,
and the institutional structure of healthcare, health care
chaplaincy, too, must develop newly required medical-ethical
competencies. The theoretical and practical scope of the new
approach to medical ethics goes beyond the general
professional reflection and education within health care
chaplaincy. Foundational reflections of ethics, case
studies, and the ethical reflection of practices of health
care chaplaincy are the focus of this series.
