Development in Humanities

The Development in Humanities series publishes books in what may be broadly understood as the humanities, especially books in such disciplines as philosophy, cultural studies, psychology, sociology, and religious studies. The authors represent both theoretical and more practical approaches, including empirical ones. As a general rule, they have considerable research experience and achievements in the disciplines they represent. The research results presented in the series can contribute in many ways to the development of today’s humanities by, among other things, fostering a constructive debate. These publications are directed both at experts in relevant disciplines as well as to those readers who, while not carrying out such research themselves, are interested in the discussed issues and have sufficient competences to explore them
